Jaws and the making of the modern blockbuster.

Jaws is 40 years old. Frequently said to be the film that started the summer blockbuster it's not only a brilliant film, but it's also a really fascinating case study on how films get made, how the best Director's adapt on set and how release schedules today are influenced by the success of Jaws.
This article on The Guardian is an interesting read for GCSE coursework and a useful example for AS film. Well worth a read.
